My kids have been craving these apple cookies ever since I made them for the first time a few weeks ago. I discovered them on good ‘ol Pinterest while searching for healthy snack ideas. Apples are one of our favorite fruits. I always keep fresh fruit stocked in our fruit bowl. All of my kids are fruit eaters so when I fixed this snack for the first time, they loved it!
The combination of the ingredients just go together so well. This is such an easy, quick and tasty snack to whip up. The kids can’t keep their hands off them! I hope you enjoy this healthy snack as much as we do.
(Serves six cookies)
-1/4 cup peanut butter
-1/4 cup almonds, sliced
-1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
-1/4 cup shredded coconut
-1/4 cup chocolate chips
Slice apple into thin rings and remove core. Spread peanut butter over one side of the ring. Top with almonds, walnuts, coconut, and chocolate chips.
